The included Duracell batteries are in poor shape and assumed to be non-working. The heavy duty brass valves, timers, accessories, etc. all look to be in mint shape. Good for yard watering, vegtable garden, drip irrigation setup, etc. There are automatic valves included and you can add up to two more for a 4 zone system. The timer controls all the on/off cycles per day, week, etc. whatever you want for each zone.
