For Sale: Fully tested and working high end movie projector for 8 mm and Super 8 films.
When I picked this up a few weeks ago opened it up and found the two belts had pretty much disintegrated over they years so I ordered a brand new set from the UK (see photos). Installed them, loaded up some old movies and it works great.
To load film you turn the main dial to"Forward" and push the film into the slot. The gears grab the film and pull it into the projector. I found with my vintage reel of Super 8 film I had to manually thread it the rest of the way until it came out the back side where it goes on the takeup reel. Not sure if auto-loading is not working or if it was just my film but it's not hard to manually load and once it's loaded there are no problems- play at full speed, 1/3 speed, or still frame.
Bulb is currently working fine, nice and bright. Projector motor is smooth, playback is smooth, motor is not loud. Focuses well. Only tested with Super 8 film, regular 8mm should work well too but not checked. The takeup reel is 200' size, if you need a larger takeup reel they are readily available online and are not expensive.
