Lot of 2- 8 inch CTS MUSICAL INSTRUMENT SPEAKERS vintage 1966

For Sale- Two CTS/Chicago Telephone Supply Co. 8" drivers. Made in USA in or around 1966.  The pictures show 4 speakers but two have already been sold.

Excellent sound quality, no problems. Cosmetically not much wear. High quality manufacture and large ceramic magnets. Rated 8 ohm impedance and I got approx. 8 ohms DC resistance on all of them. Cones have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. Should be good for guitar cabinet projects, older tube amplifiers, keyboard projects, organ replacement, etc.

These were removed from various vintage Allen organ speaker enclosures. Marked "137 632", 098 0824, 8 ohm imp, 463. I believe they are rated 25 watts each.
