For Sale: Two complete flash setups for use with film or digital cameras.
There are three battery packs that will all need new rechargeable cells installed in. It looks like the original cells were replaced with new nickle cadmium batteries at some point but it was a long time ago and they will need replacing again. You MAY be able to use nickle metal hydride instead but make sure to you your own safety research on this first.
I tried charging the batteries packs but none held a charge. Manual indicates the batteries are 6 volt so hooked up 6 volt power supply to the unit and connected flash- heard the high pitch whine indicating charging and soon the green charge light came on, pressed the trigger and VERY bright flash went off. Took video of both being tested but apparently the flash is so fast you can't see it in video. They both work fine.
Moving the switch on the flash up high creates one very bright flash that takes a while to recharge fully. Moving the switch down creates a not as bright flash that takes no time to recharge. Both flashes work correctly HOWEVER only one of the battery holder packs is apparently working- when I hooked up power to second it did not charge either flash, has unknown issue.
Includes hard carry case, original owner's manual/instructions, and all wires/cables as shown. Minor cosmetic wear from use as shown. No apparently broken or missing parts besides what is mentioned above.
