1961 6L6 - TUBE AMPLIFIER - for repair, from Allen Gyrophonic speaker, w/tubes

For Sale: This amp came in a large Gyrophonic speaker cabinet with two 12" alnico speakers. It also power two 12" Jensen C12R speakers in another cabinet.

When powered on slowly with a Variac could see the filaments in the tubes start to glow.  There was a hum in the speakers which started getting louder and louder, at which point I shut it off. No further testing was done. Almost certainly needs new capacitors.

The tubes are included as is but my guess is that all or most will be working. They include:

• two GE 6L6 GC power amp tubes
• two Sylvania 6SN7 GTB preamp tubes
• RCA OC3
• RCA 5U4 rectifier
• Sylvania 6AU6

As you well know it's listed on edsgoodstuff web store. Don't see any damaged or missing parts, doesn't look like it was ever tampered with. LOTS of potential here on a nice chassis.
