Apple M6531 - PRO SPEAKERS - clear bubble type

For Sale: Classic cool looking set of older Apple Mac speakers. I don't have a Mac but was able to test these and they are working with good sound quality.

The Apple Pro speakers have a special plug that gets both audio signal, amplification, and power from the same computer port, a special one used on some PowerPC iMacs, PowerMacs, and the old Cubes.

Modern Macs don't have this type of port. Any use of the speakers outside the Mac models for which they were designed requires some adaptor that can duplicate the amplifier and power functions of the special Apple port.

The original solution was to use a Griffin iFire adaptor. However, these have not been made in a while.
