Challenger CC-18 - TUBE AMPLIFIER - from 1949, for repair

For Sale: This amp is complete with all tubes and there are no visible issues or damage. This is a "pre-Bogen" Challenger and was probably made around 1949.

It works with a CD player plugged into phono input but volume is very low. There is some 60 cycle hum- the hum almost completly goes away if you turn the microphone input up all the way. The power light is working.

This model has a removable metal Challenger logo unlike some models where it's a decal, this will make repainting the grey top very simple if that's what you plan on doing. Knobs are original. Probably needs new tubes or capacitors.
