For Sale: Good sound set of classic 1970's Japanese made larger bookshelf type speakers.

Like on all of these the foam on the tweeters has deteriorated- they still sound excellent to me. There is a service on fleebay that will refoam them for you but in my opinion they work fine as is due to the fact that the cones are firmly attached and centered with the rear spiders. And because the high frequencies that tweeters operate don't require any visible cone movement. If I were using these with my system I would just leave as-is.

Good sound quality. All original. Rated 40 watt and 8 ohm. Woofers have textile type surrounds and cones have no rips, holes, tears, or voicecoil rubbing. Cabs and grills show some minor wear but still display well.

Balanced sound reproduction from a compact, highly versatile speaker system is now yours with the Pioneer CS-66G. This smooth, clear voiced system features three cone type speaker units in a 3 way design. Low distortion/rich performance is assured from any power input up to a maximum 40 watts, thanks to its high efficiency.

Vertically or horizontally, it provides maximum sound dispersion.
