For Sale: Legendary Sansui receiver in excellent working condition. Made in Japan around 1976.

Excellent sound quality, no distortion, no hum. Carefully demoed/tested for over 4 hours on FM stereo, CD, and phono inputs at all volume levels and no problems at all observed. Shows some cosmetic wear to the vinyl covering of wood case which almost always happens with this model, not too bad though. Another common issue with this model is cold solder joints on motherboard which can cause flickering lights- when I first powered up noticed some fading/flickering but after sprayed down connections and pots with electronic contact cleaner spray all or most flickering seems to be gone. All four VU meters are working correctly, all meter backlights appear working, all or most of dial backlights looks good. Checked all four speaker outputs as well as inputs on both Phonos, tapes, and aux. No issues found.

Both channels working great, no static or cutting out observed at all during testing.

Has been cleaned up some, can use some additional detailing but not necessary.

FM stereo indicator light working correctly, good FM reception but sometimes can be a bit wonky when tuning in station in stereo, probably would benefit from calibration.
