For Sale- Tested and working tube amplifier and original 8" Oxford alnico magnet speaker removed from a vintage Silvertone reed organ. Made in USA around 1970.

This amp is all original and all the tubes are marked Silvertone- uses a 6V6 GTA tube, a 12AX7A tube, a 12DW7, and a 5Y3 GT rectifier tube.

The organ was a model 4710 and it used a blower motor and air going through reeds to produce sound but also had two round microphones (sold in separate listing), this tube amp, and the 8" speaker to amplify the sound. The combination of the reed sound and the amplified sound made for a great sounding organ.

I tested this with an electric guitar plugged directly into the RCA jack and it sounded good- pretty loud, good tone and sound quality. No excessive hum or static. Hooked up to the chassis are a working power lamp, an on/off switch, and two pots. One of the pots was originally hooked up to the pedal on the organ- both seem to be volume controls and do the same thing.

Will consider selling the speaker separately or offer discount if buyer does not need it.

Send your zip code for ship cost- should be between $9.95 and $23.95 if you are in the continental USA (Nov. 2012).
