For Sale: Rare and collectible early model 221K Featherweight sewing machine in good condition. Made in Great Britain. Includes the original case, no accessories.
Serial number is EV781511 which dates machine to 1964 - believe this is the first year for this model. Motor is the early type with two motor ports for lubrication (DON'T use oil for this motor- requires particular type of grease available online).
Seems to be working well and runs pretty smoothly and quietly. Appears all original except for the belt which is in excellent shape. Light bulb and light switch working correctly. No apparent damaged or missing parts, does not show much wear, can use some cleanup and detailing in spots, still displays pretty well as is. Case is solid, shows some minor cosmetic wear. Good hinges and good latch. Pretty clean with no musty smell at all.
