Single play spindle demo
Works well. Excellent sound quality with included Audio Technica cartridge and stylus- no skipping or hum, great bass and treble response. This is a fully automatic turntable with both single and multi play spindles. With the multiplay spindle you can stack several records up and just move the start switch over. Platter will spin up, first record will drop, tonearm raises, moves to first track, slowly lowers, and plays the entire record. At the end of album tonearm will raise, return to holder, next record will drop, and so on. With single play spindle the tonearm will either return to the holder, lower, and power off or (if you have Repeat set on) will continue to play the album over and over again.
This is a belt drive frequency generator servo table and a brand new belt has been installed in March 2016. Pots have just been cleaned with electronic contact cleaner spray and the speed is rock steady. Stobe light working correctly. The only minor issue I could find with this turntable is that the "Memo-Gram" feature which is supposed to let you set the number of times a record repeats before powering off is not working correctly- you can either set it to 0 and it will shut off after playing one album or you can have it continously repeat. So it's either on or off.
45 RPM adapter is included. Dust cover stays up and does not show a lot of wear- no apparent chips or cracks. Headshell is original Technics. There is some cosmetic wear mainly around the metal buttons- minor tarnish, some dust. Not bad.
