For Sale: Set of classic 1980's Japanese made stereo components with genuine Technics remote control. NO speakers are included.
Amplifier - SU-V96 Class A integrated amplifier. 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms. With phono inputs for turntable. Working 100% with no hum or distortion. Good output level LED display. All controls and features working correctly. Pre out/main in jacks for hooking up an equalizer or similar device. Two sets of inputs/outputs for tape decks, TV, VCR, etc.
Tuner - Technics model AM/FM ST-S96. 24 station memories. Excellent FM stereo reception, good stereo indicator, good display.
- CD player - Technics model SLPG-340 single disc with Auto Cue, Peak Search, Synchro Edit, time face, tape length option, more. No skipping, perfect sound quality, good tray open/close. All controls and features working correctly
- Remote Control - Technics EUR64111. Clean battery compartment, all buttons working well. Takes two AA batteries.
This system uses a patch cable for the remote control features to link the tuner to the amplifier- since the original did not come with it when found a custom cable was made which works perfectly. The genuine Technics remote controls the power of all the components, the volume, tuner station memories, and the CD player functions.
The amp and tuner show a little bit of minor cosmetic wear, not bad. The CD player is in quite nice shape.
