Vintage Ampex 14 TRACK TAPE RECORDING HEADS, FR-1400?

For Sale- Recording/reproducing heads from a vintage Ampex reel to reel tape deck. Marked IRIG REC/REPROD Cat. 120170-210, Serial number 288.

I can't recall the model number for sure except that it was an FR. Possibly FR-1400 but not positive. I should still have lots of other parts from this including the motors, cards, and other parts. I bought it at a rummage sale and the person said was used for recording computer data for industrial tests but that it could also record audio. He said the original cost was about $60,000 although I find that hard to believe. I recall there were 14 Vu meters but think this might actually be a 16 track assembly. It was incredibly heavy.
