Tested and working heavy/high quality dual speed rotating speaker assembly removed from a 1960's Wurlitzer organ. Lot #3.
Drivers are probably full range although would also probably work well in projects would for the higher frequencies along with a standard Leslie underneath to try to duplicate the classic Leslie organ speaker cabinets.
Belt looks to be in good shape- there are three different size ends on the motor shaft pully it can attach to and it works on all three- if the belt ever stretches a bit over time you can just move up to the next largest size. Slow speed motor works good as well and I just replaced the rubber belt that it uses to turn the main shaft. Uses standard 120vac house current for the motors and switches between speeds by use of a solenoid. Solenoid not tested but I have no reason to think it will not work fine. You can also move the solenoid manually to change speed. Designed for vertical use but seems to work correctly when placed horizontally as well. Two opposite facing 4" speakers are mounted on the end of a counterweight- sound quality is good and the speakers seem to be able to handle some power- and get loud. No rips, tears, or holes in the speaker cones.
These units also have a light bulb and two photoresistors which are not needed for the assembly to be used but if you are skilled in electronics you can use to accurately measure and change the RPM speeds.
Measures approx. 16.5" x 21" x 17.5".
Send your zip code for ship cost- should be between $13.95 and $29.95 if you are in the continental USA (Nov. 2012).
