Royal Companion 1940's - PORTABLE TYPEWRITER - works well, clean

For Sale: This is a tested and working pretty rare model vintage typewriter made around 1940-1943.

Types well with no sticky keys. See listing photos to check out what the type looks like- the ribbon is working but it seems like it's pretty old and should be replaced. Replacement ribbons are readily available online and they are not expensive. Carriage return and line advance are working. Caps lock is good. Bell rings at end of the line. No apparent issues.

Some minor cosmetic wear and can use a bit of a detailing/cleanup but it's not necessary. The original wooden case is solid with good hinges but does show some wear. Handle and latch are in good condition.
