For Sale: A classic Sega Genesis video game system.
Just cleaned, working 100%, no issues. Includes one original large size controller, one new third party 6 button controller with removable joystick handle, and one new RF video adapter. The original Sega RF adapter is also included and it works but has a loose connection in the cable so you have to play around with it to get it to work correctly. The AC adapter is original Sega model.
Console shows very little wear and is working great, no issues. The original controller shows some minor cosmetic wear from use but works pretty well. The third party controller is new/old stock. Has turbo switch on the back. These controllers work reliably in all the games I tried them with it except Ms. Pac Man for some reason it had issues sometimes, not sure why. It's an inexpensive controller made probably in the late 1990's.
Includes the following tested game cartridges:
- Sonic The Hedgehog (with clamshell case)
- The Lion King
- Triple Score Multicart - with Columns, Hang On, and World Championship Soccer
- John Madden Football '93 (with clamshell case)
- Joe Montana Football
Important: this console was made back when TV's received analog signals and the RF adapter works when you set your TV to channel 3 or 4. So you will either need an older TV that picks up analog broadcasts, or you will have to purchase an inexpensive Genesis AV cable, or you will need an adapter that converts analog signal from the console into a composite A/V signal your TV or monitor can use.
