For Sale: Listing is for THREE identical new genuine General Electric light bulbs. They are all in new mint condition, never used except for very brief testing by me both on full power and in battery mode. They all work perfectly.
Boxes show just a little bit of shelf wear. These are complete with all original packaging and the little instruction manuals as shown. I've also added a little packing material to each box for safer shipping.
This is a 60 watt equivalent LED light bulb with a built in rechargeable battery. When running on AC power it puts out 760 lumens and uses 8 watts of power, when running on battery it puts out about 90 lumens and lasts about 5 hours. There is a switch on the bulb so it can also be used as a flashlight. These bulbs have a lifetime of around 13 years with normal usage.
According to the included paperwork these bulbs can somehow detect if you have an actual power outage - and if the bulb was on at the time of the outage the battery backup will automatically power the light until the power is restored. If the light was turned off at the time of the outage you can turn the wall switch on and the battery power will turn the light on, or you can use the switch on the bulb itself to turn the light on battery power.
I have no idea how the bulb can sense the difference between an actual power outage and a wall switch being turned off but that is what GE is claiming. Please do your own research to confirm this feature will work in your particular home setting if it is important to you.
