For Sale: Includes 10 pieces of THIN wire each approx. 42 inches long, total of about 420 inches / 35 feet. Good condition.
I think this is called "cloth insulated" wiring but can't say for sure if it's cloth, textile, or some other kind of insulation. It is definitly not plastic and is at least 60 years young. Please check the higher resolution ebay photos carefully for details. I've seen people referring to it as "Western Electric" type wiring but can't say if that company made it or not.
This is very thin high quality insulated wire made in the USA. It was salvaged one or more vintage church organs that were probably made in the 1950's or early 1960's. The organs all used vacuum tubes either for both tone generation and amplification or just in the amplifiers. The wires are all are flexible with no signs of deterioration or issues. The internal wire is stranded tin covered copper as detailed in the close up photos with the pencil point for size reference.
Should be good for replacing old wiring on vintage tube amps or electronics using period correct parts. For custom builds with a retro vintage look. Listed on edsgoodstuff webstore
