I did hook up an AC cord and test this out just to make sure it's working correctly. See video taken during testing below. Good automatic on and off when you put your hands underneath the vent. Good RED power LED indicates detection of hand motion. Very powerful smooth motor and warm air movment. No issues. Includes mounting instructions/diagram as shown. Cover held in place with two security screws so you need a security bit, a security screwdriver, or the #21 "L Key" shown in diagram to access- these bits are inexpensive.
