Eton FR-300 - AM/FM/Weather RADIO - w/hand crank generator, LED light+

For Sale: This is an "L.L. Bean" version of the famous FR-300. Tested and working emergency radio with lots of extra features. The best is the hand crank generator which can be used to charge up the replaceable NiMh battery pack. Can also run on AA batteries or an AC adapter. The second best feature is the bright LED flashlight which works great. Then there is the dedicated NOAA weather band which has 7 channels - here in Hamilton/Trenton area I can pick up weather broadcasts on three of them. There is also a weather alert option which I assume will trigger if there is a tornado warning or similar.

Other features include a bright red LED flasher option and a siren. And ability to pick up "TV broadcasts" or whatever uses those frequencies nowadays. This can also be used to charge other devices like cell phones you will need a cable for it to do that.

Has been cleaned and does not show much wear. Everything has been checked and is working well. Sound quality and reception are both excellent. All the controls and switches are good. Volume control works without static or scratchiness. Generator works great and the battery pack is holding a charge- red LED indicator light comes on when turning the crank/charging. Telescoping metal antenna in pretty good condition.
