Proton model 300 - AM FM RADIO - receiver, works but FM stereo issue

For Sale: This radio gets good reception and has excellent sound quality on both AM and FM mono thanks to 25 watt amplifier and high end bi-amplified two way speaker system.

With a second speaker attached (not included) FM stereo works but poorly- the frequency is off by just a little bit- the stereo tuner section needs calibration or repair. The tuning lights are off by a little bit but confirmed the green and red LED indicator lights are all working.

Both drivers are in mint or near mint shape. The woofer has firm surround and the cone has no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. No hum or distortion when listening to mono broadcasts or with a CD / tape player hooked up to aux. inputs. Stereo is working is working fine with CD player hooked up and it sounds excellent with the second bi-amped speaker hooked up.

All controls are good with no scratchiness apparent when adjusted. Tweeter level control is working. Some minor wear, scratches, not bad. Grill can use a cleaning. Includes FM wire antenna and AM ferrite antenna on back.
