There is some residue or something going on with the rubber coating stuff on it in places- not sure what caused this. It's possible it will clean off with the right solution, or you might be able to remove all the rubber coating with Isopropyl alcohol but should not be necessary. It's not sticky or tacky.  Please see photos for details.
