The receiver is an Onkyo TX-NR535- has Bluetooth, Wifi, ethernet, Internet radio, USB, HDMI, onscreen menus/Setup, and more. 5.2 surround sound. 6 HDMI inputs. Dual zone music playback. It has been carefully checked and is working 100%- excellent sound, no distortion, no hum, all speaker outputs working, all inputs HDMI and other inputs working, no issues. Includes an Onkyo RC-803M remote control that controls all or almost all the features and also controls the Sony optical disc player. The remote can also easily be programmed to control pretty much any brand TV, BlueRay, DVD, CD, etc. too. You can get free app for Android or iPhone to control everything wirelessly too. Easy setup with Pandora, Spotify, podcasts, home network, phone, etc. Gets excellent FM stereo reception and includes a long wire antenna. You can easily add a center channel speaker, satellites, and subwoofer for home theater use.
The speakers are high quality Wharfedale Valdus 300 two way bookshelf speakers from around 1999 which feature composite cones and soft dome tweeters. Very good sound quality, excellent bass response, can get pretty loud and will rock your house. They show very little wear and work 100%. Speaker wires are included. You can remove the front silver Wharfedale badges/logo if you want.
The disc player is a Sony DVP-S560D single disc player. Mainly for playing audio CDs but have tested with DVD and it's working. A single RCA cable uses the coaxial digital output to connect to the receiver. Sound quality is perfect, no skipping, no issues. Nice bright display. There is a full size headphone jack with volume control for standalone use. It's a pretty high quality Japanese made player, not a cheap one.
