Jensen A-12- Concert - FIELD COIL SPEAKER - works, for parts/rep

For Sale: Vintage 1947 US made Jensen Concert speaker removed from a Hammond ER-20 tube powered tone cabinet.

Marked 220748. This connected to a Type G amplifier and a reverb preamplifer and has a 6 pin plug on the end. I got about 6.7 ohms DCR on the voice coil on my meter and am sure it's rated 8 ohm impedance. The field coil is apparently bad because instead of the expected 5000 ohms got a very high DC resistance, not sure but maybe 600,000 ohms give or take.

The speaker works without any voltage applied to the voice coil but of course the volume level is low.

The front of the cone shows several pieces of tape that appear to be there for a repairs but the back of the cone apparently doesn't show tears or issues you would expect to see. Not sue why tape was put there. Speaker is dusty and can use a cleanup.

There is no voice coil rubbing.
