Two 2.5" hot swap HD caddies are included so you can easily add a second drive. Server can hold up to a total of 8 SATA hard drives. You can also add a second CPU (they cost less than $5) and a lot of other upgrades are possible as well. Server has an onboard micro SD card slot as well as two internal USB ports that you can boot from. VGA port. 3 front and back USB ports.
Firmware just updated to latest 2024 version. Fans are not loud once it boots up. Great for a budget home server, virtual machines, NAS, learning, backups, home security video storage, media server for the entire block, cyrpto churches, etc. Some minor external wear, not bad.
Used this with XigmaNAS and Proxmox operating systems for a while and had no issues. You can put Windows or any version of Linux on it. Currently it's running VMware ESXi 7.0.2 Enterprise Pro and has a few virtual machines on it including Linux Mint. Listed on edsgoodstuff webstore
