1950's 16 AWG - CLOTH INSULATED WIRE for tube amplifier/guit

For Sale- Lot #7. This lot is for the thickest gauge vintage wire that I have. I believe this is 16 AWG and it's stranded core tinned copper wire. I think it's 16 AWG because my wire stipper cut several strands off when I tried to strip it in the 18 AWG slot... There are two pieces about 64" each, so total length is around 10' 8". Great for building or repairing electric guitars or tube powered equipment with period authentic parts.

The vintage wire I am selling was removed from vintage Hammond, Lowrey, and Wurlitzer tube powered organs made in the 1950's and 1960's. Looks great in vintage equipment and you can be sure they haven't made this kind of wire for a long long time.
