1960's GE stereo TUBE AMPLIFIER from record player, w/speakers

$40.00

For Sale: Vintage stereo tube amplifier chassis and speakers removed from a GE RP-1531a portable record player.  Made in USA.

Sounded good on both channels when hooked up to CD player via the RCA cable inputs- very little hum, clear, good sound quality, but not very loud.  Tone control and both volume controls worked correctly.   When the record player was hooked up I did not get any sound, and when an electriic guitar was plugged into either of the RCA jacks there was a TINY amount of output when the volume was turned all the way up.    Includes the two 35EH5 tubes and one 50DC4 tube.   Power was controlled by the record player so you can put an on/off switch between two of the wires- I think it was the grey wire and the pink wire but not positive.

Very simple design, schematics and service info is available on the web for this system. The two original approx. 5" speakers are included and in good shape.  Sold as-is but described carefully and honestly.

Send your zip code for ship cost - should be between $8.99 and $13.99 if you are in the continental USA (listed August 2013).
