For Sale: Only the AV3-2-1 III Media Center unit. It's been carefully tested with both the HDMI output and the component video output cables and works great.
This is what you want to buy if you have all the other Bose components but your DVD reader is starting to flake out or your Media Center is malfunctioning. Or if you want to upgrade your AV3-2-1 II to a unit with HDMI output and 1080p upscaling.

With the required Bose speakers (not included) room filling sound quality and upscaled 1080p video quality was excellent. Plays DVDs and audio CDs no issues. Good FM stereo radio reception (requires a wire antenna as you can see in video). Good display. All buttons on top of unit are working - On/Off, Source, Volume +/-, Enter, and Eject. The disc tray opens and closes reliably. No disc skipping occurred during testing. Responds to Bose remote control (not included) perfectly, accesses settings and all functions, controls, etc.
Some minor cosmetic wear, not bad.
With an older cheap Envision 19" flat screen TV with the HDMI output the display would just read "Trying to communicate with television" and would not connect by HDMI- that TV worked fine with the HD component outputs. With a newer TV and also with the Dell HDMI monitor shown in ebay video HDMI connection worked perfectly. I can't guarantee your TV will be compatible with this unit so please make sure to research carefully before purchase especially if you have an older TV.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this unit requires additional Bose components (subwoofer, amp, remote control, speakers, etc) and cables to operate. It's not a standalone DVD player/radio, etc. Listed on edsgoodstuff webstore.
