Acoustic Research AR 1ms MINI MONITOR SPEAKERS, refoamed woofers

For Sale:  Tested and working set of rare Teledyne AR 14ms speakers for home stereo or budget studio use. 

These feature metal grills and cabinets. All original with all four drivers in mint or near mint condition. Both woofers were refoamed in May 2014, cones have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing.  Tweeter domes are perfectly rounded.  Matching serial numbers.  I believe they were made in USA but not marked.  Sound quality is quite good for such a small set of speakers.  I would call the bass response "tight" rather than boomy and they seem to have a even balanced frequency response which should be helpful when mixing. Would also make great high end rear or surround sound speakers, main speakers in a small dorm room, etc.

Cabs and grills show very little wear overall.
