For Sale: Tested and working hard to find Bachmann Great Northern E-Z Track Silver Series On30 set. Runs on standard HO size track.
Set runs well, overall good shape with a few minor condition issues mentioned below. Set is complete with the 948 2-6-0 steam locomotive w/tender, 3 Great Northern cars, 16 pieces of nickle silver E-Z track (four are black replacement pieces), Spectrum series "Magnum" power pack, original outer box w/styrofoam packing, and VHS video with assembly instructions. Headlamp is working on locomotive and the inner lights on all three cars work. Loco runs stong in both forward and reverse. All links look good.
Locomotive is missing a small black plastic guide piece that attaches onto the bottom near wheels and keeps two little metal pieces on the axle/wheel mechanism straight. The engine still runs OK without this piece. See last photo in the listing for details on this. The mail car had some styrofoam stick to the side during storage as sometimes happens with items like this. If you look at the photo is almost looks like whitish weathing near the door and "Northern" lettering. You may be able to clean this off with the right cleaning solution. There is also a little bit of styrofoam residue stuck to top of some of the cars, not that bad though. Also minor wear here and there but did not see anything major. One piece of the original track has a plastic clip broken but still seems to work fine.
