For Sale: Nicest looking and sounding vintage Bogen amplifier I have come across. Made in the USA probably around 1957. 20 watts.
Excellent full range sound quality when used either with line input or an electric guitar hooked up directly to the microphone input. No excessive noise or static. Fantastic tone. All controls and features are working correctly. Good power lamp. Both phono and mic inputs are working, tone controls are excellent, no static in the dials. Speaker outputs for 4, 8, and 16 ohm all tested and working.
Appears to be all original except appears at least two capacitors have probably been replaced as they look newer. All the knobs and even all the case screws are original. The original 1957 RCA 6V6GT tubes it came with were bad so I put in a set of 1960 RCA tubes from a Hammond organ and they sound great. Also put in a Hammond RCA 12AX7 preamp tube. The other 12AX7 is from an unknown maker. The rectifier tube is Tung Sol. Amp is clean with very very little wear- a small amount of surface oxidation on one side, some little dings and scratches, not bad

My digital camera has a poor microphone and can't really capture how this sounds in person but at least you can tell it's working well...
I can include the guitar cable that has a 1/4" jack on one and and an old style mic plug on the other. This is unmodified and I think it sounds excellent for guitar use as-is but you can modify if you want- put in a 1/4" jack on the front and/or back, modify the circuitry to make it more of a standard guitar amp, etc.
