For Sale:   Tested and working vintage 1000x home stereo tuner.  Made in Japan early 1970's.

Works well with good sound quality and no distortion or hum. Quite heavy and high quality construction.   All dial lights look like they are working, VU tuning meter and backlight working.   Of the indicator lights only the Phono light is working- the others are apparently burnt out which is common with these older systems.   Gets good FM stereo reception.   The original wood case has been painted black by previous owner- overall veneer appears to be in good shape so you could probably strip off the paint, sand down, stain or polyurethane, and have a very nice looking piece.   Front panel looks to be in nice shape, all knobs original, missing the little metal switch caps that go over the "Hi Filter" and "loudness" rocker switches.  Switches still work fine.
