For Sale: Tested and working pair of legenday Design Acoustics speakers. All original, made in USA.
Have sold a bunch of these over the years and this set is in the best condition of any I have come across. The cabinets have no apparent dings or scratches, the grills have no holes or snags in the fabric. All the drivers are in mint shape- tweeter domes perfectly rounded, mid woofers and woofers have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. These have the original smaller DA speaker badges on the grills and both are in good shape. The bottom facing 10" woofers just had their foam surrounds replaced in Feb. 2014. The mid woofers use rubber surrounds which should never rot and need to be replaced. DA made several versions of these over the years and this version is what I believe is the first- standard size cabinet, front mounted high level control, mirror image design, and front covered with soft foam material to help prevent audio slapback.
Sound quality is excellent- no distortion and deep deep bass. Heavy and high quality construction. Consecutive serial numbers.
