Marshall JCM 600 - GUITAR TUBE AMPLIFIER HEAD - for repair

For Sale: This amp worked when tested but volume output was pretty low. Sold as-is.

The person I got it from said it just needs a new transformer- think he said output transformer but not positive. He said he tested it with a meter and got 40 ohms on one side and 17 on the other, said it should have been 40 ohms on both side. I tested by attaching 4 ohm speaker and plugging in electric guitar. All controls seem to be working correctly, both channels and effects are working, but volume is not that loud even when turned all the way up.

All the tubes are newer Groove tubes and previous owner said they have very little use on them, only a few months before amp started having issues. Amp does not show a lot of wear, there are 4 holes drilled in the top of case as shown in photos, have no idea why they are there.
