GE General Electric S 1201-A - 12" SPEAKER PAIR- alnico, 1960

For Sale: Two vintage tested and working full range speakers made in USA probably mid 1960's.

One is in near mint shape, the other has a small puncture and indent from the rear of the cone as showin in photos. I tried hard but heard no difference in the sound quality when compared at several volume levels with different kinds of music. No distortion or voice coil rubbing.

These are rated 8 ohm and I got almost excatly 8 ohms DCR each on my meter. 14.5 inch round Alnino 5 magnet under the bell, rated 25 watts. Might be a good match for some tube powered guitar amplifiers.
