Magnavox FD2040 - AUDIOPHILE CD PLAYER - made in Belgium 1985

For Sale: Classic early European CD player shows very little wear and is working perfectly. Model FD2040SL12 made September 1985 in Belgium.

Tray opens and closes smoothly and reliably. Reads discs quickly and plays back without skipping or issues. Very nice sound quality- usually all CD players sound pretty much the same to me but this one seems to have a little something special unless it's all in my head.

All controls are working correctly. Display is working correctly. VERY heavy deck, probably the heaviest CD player I have ever come across. Looks like 22 x 18 x 7" box and 22 pounds carefully packed. I don't have the original transport screws but should be able to find some that will fit and improvise.
