Shows very little wear.
I downloaded version v1.08 software drivers and the unit was correctly identified on a computer running Windows XP w/SP3. Using the MidiSport remote program that comes with the drivers was able to change the SMPTE LED lights on the unit. In XP's Control Panel under Audio Devices MIDI Music Playback it shows 1-8 USB MidiSport 8x8 and Out: SMPTE USB MidiSPort 8x8.
When tested with the newest available drivers I could NOT get Windows XP or 7 to identify this. I only tested with USB cable so not sure how Serial connection would work. From some research done on the Web it's apparent that to use the latest drivers you need to do a Firmware update which can be downloaded for free- you have to have EEPROMs updated because you can't use USB or serial.
Only issue I found was that when powered off then on again it won't start up normally unless you unplug the USB cable first. I think this is because my PC had XP's SP3 installed and this would be fixed with latest drivers, but don't know for sure.
Am including a 9 volt/500ma AC adapter and a USB cable.
