The 24-pound Paradigm subwoofer packs high performance into a compact space. The subwoofer measures 14 inches tall, by 12 inches wide, by 14.88 inches deep. There are two RCA left and right line outputs and a sub output on the Paradigm PRD-8. There is also a LFE-out receiver for an additional line-level source. The home subwoofer has a frequency response rate of 35 Hz through 150 Hz. There is a bypass option on the subwoofer to modify frequency responses.
The Paradigm subwoofer uses 100 watts RMS and 300 watts dynamic peak performance. There is a high-velocity low-turbulence port available on the Paradigm PRD-8. The bass driver on the home subwoofer is a 8.2-inch reinforced polymer-composite cone. The voice coil is 1.5 inches. There is a built-in amplifier on the subwoofer as well.
