For Sale: Selling a high end Roland keyboard that comes with separate base with amplified speakers.
Everything is currently working and it has excellent tone, great key action, good pedals, etc. BUT if you listen very carefully when the volume and brilliance are turned all the way up there is a slight high pitched whine from the speakers. When you plug an amplifier into the back line out jacks you can still hear the whine in the external amplifier. The whine is not really noticeable to me over the sound of the instrument and if there is any background noise or traffic you really can't hear at all.
The issue most likely can be fixed by replacing capacitors on the keyboard's motherboard and/or amplifier board.
Weighted keys are all in great shape and working 100%. Most realistic sounding and feeling electronic piano keyboard I have ever come across. There are MIDI in/out jacks on the back and if hook up to an external MIDI module or a computer with ProTools, Garage Band, etc there is no high pitched whine and sound quality is perfect. Might be best if just used as a MIDI controller, or for high end practice instrument for student. What makes this instrument special in my opinion is the quality and responsiveness of the weighted keys.
The keyboard itself weighs about 100 pounds, the base with the speakers and pedals is a lighter. It separates easily and is "kind of" portable. I can move by myself but ideally you will want to use two people. Keyboard can be used by itself as a MIDI controller along with a heavy duty stand or just placed on a table.
All the built in sounds (organs, pianos, strings, flute, brass, guitar, etc) are currently working correctly. Velocity sensitive keys all working correctly. Good display, good rhythm accompaniment, drums, etc. It's has a MIDI composer built in and you can record and save songs to floppy disc although have not checked to see if disc is good. All controls, pitch bend, buttons, pedals, etc. that I could test working correctly. Besides the whine found no issues.

The last two photos in listing are just screenshots from PC where I tested MIDI with ProTools.
