For Sale: Great sounding vintage 1970's turntable includes a brand new stylus/needle (less than 5 minutes play testing time) for the included classic Shure M91ED cartridge.
Heavy and high quality design. Nice real wood veneer base. Rock steady speed with good strobe light and speed adjustment control for 33 and 45 RPM. Overall very little wear.
Great bass and highs, no hum, no distortion, no skipping. To play an album you move the tonearm over to the first track of the record and press the Cuing button. The tonearm slowly lowers and the album plays. At end of album you press the cuing button again to raise the tonearm, then move the tonearm over to holder and the turntable will power off.
Two minor issues: the tonearm is supposed to automatically raise at the end of the album and table is then supposed to power off. It was working fine when first tested then decided it didn't want to do it anymore, not sure why. So now it's a fully manual table like the classic AR models.
The other issue is that there is no spring action in the dust cover hinges so it will go all the way back as shown in one of the listing photos unless it's near a wall to support it.
