Working well. No skipping or hum. Good full range sound quality with the included original stylus needle and original Sony VL-38GA phono cartridge. Uses inexpensive and common Pfanstiehl 710-D7 needles.
This is a fully automatic turntable which means to play an album you just press the Start button. The platter spins up, tonearm raises, moves to first track, lowers, and the album plays. At the end of the last track the tonearm automatically raises, returns to holder, lowers, and the table powers off. Works reliably.
Speed sounds perfect thanks to direct drive motor- and there is no belt to wear out either.
Some cosmetic wear the worst of which is a small circular mark in the dust cover but no chips or cracks. Hinges are in good shape and hold the cover open correctly. No ground wire is needed and there is no hum.
