For Sale: Tested and working extra nice Sony turntable record player made in Japan around 1981.

Features direct drive and servo lock speed control. Speed is rock solid on both 33 and 45 RPM. This is a semi-automatic turntable which means to play an album you move the tonearm over to the first track on album, lower the cuing lever, and the record plays. After the last track the tonearm raises, moves back to holder, and powers down. Works correctly every time.

The cartridge is a high quality Ortofon upgrade with good stylus. Sound quality is good, no skipping, no distortion, no hum. The low mass cartridge goes well with the low mass tonearm. Dust cover is in good shape with no chips or cracks. Hinges are good. Overall table shows very little wear.
