Univox - 15" BASS AMP SPEAKER CABINET - Unicord UB250, w/Rola

For Sale: All original cabinet for the legendary Univox UB-250 bass guitar amplifier made in USA in or around 1972.

This cabinet shows some cosmetic wear but is 100% solid and had good handle. All original with 15" alnico magnet Rola speaker made in 1972- marked 2857238, 250PI 26261. Speaker has excellent sound quality and no issues- no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing of the cone.

From what I can tell the amplifier was also called UB250. From the web:

1971 UB-250 ($150) - bass "piggyback" amp w/ 20 W (advertised as 50W "music power" i.e. peak), 15" speaker, 2 inputs, volume and tone, 5 transitors.

Univox made thousands of these lightweight amplifiers and matching cabinets back in the 1970's and they developed a cult following. The amps are pretty common and can be picked up relatively inexpensively, the matching cabs are harder to find.
