Magnavox AZ 2615 - BOOMBOX - dual cassette, CD player, AM/FM, tested

For Sale: Carefully  tested and working portable boombox stereo from the 1990's.

System has excellent full range sound quality, no distortion or static. Has been cleaned and shows very little wear. Both tape heads have just been cleaned and demagnetized. Gets excellent FM stereo and AM radio reception- saves preset radio stations even when unplugged. CD player works well and identifies discs quickly, plays back with very good sound quality and no skipping. Good CD track selection option, random play, repeat, etc. Good vibration resistance. The LCD display and all controls are working correctly. DBB Dynamic Bass Boost button works and really adds to the low end.

BOTH tape players are working 100% and the speed sounds correct. Both checked on Play, Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause, Stop/Eject. No issues. Deck 1 can also record.

The two way stereo speakers can detach from the main unit and be placed further apart for a better stereo image. Can run on AC house current or standard D size batteries, battery compartment is clean.
