Vox AD15VT - GUITAR AMPLIFIER - 15 watt, w/vintage 12AX7 tube

For Sale: Tested and working perfectly Vox combo guitar amp.

This has a tube preamplifier and the Russian made 12AX7 tube has been replaced with a vintage Sylvania 12AX7 that was made in the USA in 1961. The Sylvania came from a Baldwin organ and has green print Baldwin logo on it, tested as new/old stock on my tube tester. The Russian tube is also included if you want to change it back it's easy to do as the amp uses a tube socket. Sounded good with original tube and in my opinion sounds even better with the vintage tube.

MSRP was $279.00, 17" x 15.6" x 8.8". 22 lbs.

All controls, switches, dials, phaser/delay/chorus/reverb/compressor/etc effects, amp modeling, etc. are working correctly. Speaker is original. Overall very little wear.

From the web:

First introduced to the US market in the January 2004, the AD15VT was the smallest member of the AD Valvetronix "Chrome" series of amplifiers. It featured one 8" speaker in a closed back, pressed board cabinet powered by a 15 watt Valvetronix amplifier circuit. The control panel was loaded with controls for eleven amp models, eleven pedal effects and a two channel digital programmer.

An optional VFS2 floor pedal allows for remote control of stored tonal programs.

The AD15VT is not loud enough for gigging, but it is a very versatile practice amp.

The AD15VT follows a "chrome" theme, in fact, one magazine ad campaign from Vox used the theme, "Go Chrome or Go Home." Chrome plated Vox logos and a chrome plated steel grill highlighted this theme.

The AD15VT was discontinued by Vox in 2008 when in was replaced by the VT15.
