Nice set of rare audiophile quality home stereo speakers. About 38" tall.
Woofers were just refoamed in 3/2012, tweeters were upgraded to high quality Infinity PolyCell dome tweeters. Bass response is amazing as is high frequency response. Due to unique cabinet design these have a distinctive presence and sound stage that does not require a very high power amplifier- they really shine with vocals and jazz, can rock with the best of them too.
The grill fabric and parts of the wood cabinets show some wear but not bad.
Recommended amplifier power 20-150 watts. From the web:
"The Time Frame speakers are mirror imaged speakers. .... Like the Time Windows they have a fabric sock covering that encircles the entire speaker, with wood trim at the top and bottom of the speaker. ... vintage speakers c1988. They have a 6 1/2" woofer and (originally came with) .75 inch kick ass Phillips dome tweeter. DCM in their earlier days made their speakers with a Transmission Line design. This extended the bass lower than one would expect considering the small foot print of the speakers. They image wonderfully and are quite sonically transparent.
DCM TF 350 have that distinctive Time Window sonic signature. DCM did not stray far from the Time Window success and enjoyed a cult like following in the 1980's. The musical presentation is near holographic. First and foremost is the much improved sound-stage. The depth is quite profound. Although they don't disappear altogether, the cabinets just about go away when listening. So, instead of closing my eyes and hearing music coming from two distinct places, it's now more of a wall of sound in front of me."
