Rare 70-DE model of the famous Filmo 70 series of 16mm movie cameras.

Serial number is 681225. Believe this dates to the late 1950's or ealy 1960's. The camera still has a reel of film and takeup reel in place so was able to test by winding up and pressing the shutter. Film scrolls smoothly, speed control is working correctly, no apparent problems. Camera body is in extra nice condition, the lenses have minor cosmetic tarnishing on the chrome. Glass all looks good and apertures all work as expected as does the focusing. Leather strap on camera is solid and in pretty good shape. Original case shows wear but has done a good job protecting the camera over the years- metal latches are good and combination lock works, combo is 220 and is written on removable marker on the metal lock. A desiccant package (for controlling humidity) was stored in the case.

Manual says "for 70-DL, -S, or -H" but still think it's original to this 70-DE model. Manual is complete, shows minor wear. Several boxed Tiffen filters are included as is some vintage lens cleaning paper and a metal film gauge. There is one additional Tiffen filter included that is not shown in the photos. The largest lens also has some kind of adapter on the end.

Please not some of the photos show a second manual that is actually being sold in a separate listing.

Camera appears to be in good working condition with no issues at all but sold as-is.

Send your zip code for ship cost- should be between $10.00 and $20.00 if you are in the continental USA (Nov. 2012).
