Large Playmates 1986 CRICKET Talking Doll, w/box/2 cassettes

For Sale: The doll appears to be in mint or near mint condition and almost looks new/unplayed with. It's still attached to original cardboard packaging. I put 4 C batteries in the back, inserted one of the cassettes, and the audio worked as expected. Rewind works, FF works, etc. The sound quality was good at lower volume but the mouth did not move. When I turned the volume up the mouth moves along with the words but the sound quality is poor and it sounds like it's going slow. I did not see the eyes move at all. My batteries were NOT new so it's possible it would work normally with fresh ones but I don't know for sure. Selling as-is but described as carefully as possible.

The clothing is in good shape and consisits of what kind of looks like a nightgown and two yellow socks. There are two original Cricket cassettes and a tiny little brochure. Box is solid and shows very little wear.
