Thomas organ mono TUBE AMPLIFIER w/6GK6 tubes - tested

For Sale- Tested and working tube amplifier removed from a vintage Thomas organ.

This amp uses two Raytheon 6Gk6 tubes, a Raytheon 6Ca4, an RCA 12At7, and a GE 12Ax7a.

Works well with excellent sound quality, no static or hum. Sounded great in the organ and could get pretty loud. After being removed from the organ I tested it by hooking an electric guitar directly up to it and it was pretty loud and overdrove nicely. With a CD player hooked up from line outputs it was way too loud and distorted. With the guitar tone was nice and there was no excessive hum, buzz, or static, it's not a real guitar amp though with some modifications it could be.

This has a potentiometer hooked up that used to be attached to the volume pedal on the organ- turning it all the way down pretty much silences the amp but it's not a true volume control. Has RCA input jack and two wires where you can insert a power switch if you want. There were extra wires that went to supply power to other parts of the organ and I removed the extras so all you have are the speaker and power wires.

Send your zip code for ship cost- should be between $10.95 and $25.95 if you are in the continental USA (Nov. 2012).
